Alojzija Zupan Sosič: Ali beremo maturitetne romane z užitkom? Jezik in slovstvo. 1/2003. 7–20.
Branje maturitetnega romana Alamut (1938) je lahko užitek, če učitelj pri vodenju analitično–ustvarjalnega branja spreminja svoje vloge od spremljevalca do usmerjevalca učenčevega branja, hkrati pa navaja učence k razbiranju večplastnosti romana. V prispevku sem predlagala nekaj možnosti približevanja romanu po zgodovinski, filozofsko–religiozni in psihološki poti, ko sem Bartolov roman predstavila kot skico za sproščujoče in učinkovito literarno branje.

Alojzija Zupan Sosič: Do we read novels studies for secondary school final examination (matura) with pleasure? Jezik in slovstvo. 1/2003. 7–20.
Reading Alamut, a novel studied for secondary school final examinations (matura), can be pleasurable, if the teacher – in guiding analytical and creative reading – changes roles from that of monitor to guide for student reading, while at the same time helping the students to become aware of the multi-layered structure of the novel. In the paper, I suggest several possibilities for introducing the novel in a historical, philosophical and religious, and psychological perspectives, by presenting the novel as a sketch for relaxing and effective literary reading.



Pavel Ocepek: Parateater in duhovna drama v misteriju Prebujenje v svetlobo Vilija Ravnjaka. Jezik in slovstvo. 1/2003. 21–30.
Besedilo predstavlja obredno gledališče kot posebno gledališko obliko. Sprašuje se o literarno zvrstno ustreznem besedilu, ki je lahko predloga pri ugledališčenju obreda. Ob analizi dramskega dela Prebujenje v svetlobo (2002) Vilija Ravnjaka ugotavlja, da je ustrezna zvrst za obredno gledališče posebna oblika drame, ki jo poimenuje paradrama.

Pavel Ocepek: The para-theatre and spiritual drama in Vili Ravnjak’s mystery play Awakening into the light. Jezik in slovstvo. 1/2003. 21–30.
The paper presents ritual theatre as a special theatrical form and the issue of what might be an appropriate literary genre for a text to be used as the basis for the transformation of a ritual into a theatrical form. With an analysis of Awakening into the Light (2002), a play by Vili Ravnjak, the paper establishes that a special form of drama, which it labels “para-drama”, is a suitable genre for ritual theatre.



Ina Ferbežar: Dialog med ciljem in metodo. Jezik in slovstvo. 1/2003. 31–44.
Dialog kot ustvarjalen proces dveh oz. več udeležencev v konkretni situaciji je opazovan kot metoda poučevanja, tvorno sodelovanje v njem pa kot eden od ciljev jezikovnega pouka. Besedilo skuša odgovoriti na vprašanja, čemu in kako se dialoška besedila uporabljajo pri pouku oz. v učbenikih slovenščine kot neprvega jezika, ter ponuditi nekaj predlogov za njihovo učinkovitejšo uporabo. Vključevanje dialoških besedil v učbenike slovenščine kot tujega/drugega jezika je torej doslej ustaljena praksa, vendar doslej ni bilo zares izpostavljeno kritični presoji.

Ina Ferbežar: The Dialogue between aim and method. Jezik in slovstvo. 1/2003. 31–44.
The dialogue as a creative process of two or more participants is observed as a teaching method, while productive participation in a dialogue is viewed as one of the aims of language teaching. The paper seeks to explain why and how texts containing dialogues are used in the teaching and textbooks of Slovene as a second/foreign language, and offers a few suggestions for their more effective use. The inclusion of texts containing dialogues in Slovene second/foreign language textbooks is standard practice, but it has not yet been critically evaluated.



Simon Krek: Sodobna dvojezična leksikografija. Jezik in slovstvo. 1/2003. 45–60.
Članek obravnava nekatera praktična vprašanja sodobnega dvojezičnega slovaropisja. Njegove teme so predvsem jezikovni viri, ki jih potrebuje sodobni slovaropisec pri izdelavi slovarja, osnovna metodologija slovarskega dela, računalniški format slovarja ter končni rezultat, slovarska baza podatkov. Med jezikovnimi viri izpostavlja obstoječe slovarske vire ter t. i. besedilne korpuse, nepogrešljiv vir jezikovnih podatkov za sodobne slovaropisce. Metodologija je prikazana na praktičnih primerih iz slovenskega ter angleškega jezikovnega para, kot format, v katerem nastajajo sodobni slovarji pa izpostavlja format SGML/XML zaradi možnosti nadzora nad strukturo slovarja ter neodvisnosti od programske opreme. Končni rezultat je računalniška slovarska baza v formatu SGML/XML, ki vsebuje različne informacije na več nivojih, od katerih je tiskana verzija slovarja le eden od mnogih.

Simon Krek: Contemporary bilingual lexicography. Jezik in slovstvo. 1/2003. 45–60.
The article deals with some practical issues in modern bilingual lexicography. Its themes include language resources necessary for the work of a modern lexicographer, basic methodology of lexicographic work, computer format of the dictionary and the final result, a dictionary database. Among the language resources, the existing dictionaries are highlighted together with language corpora as indispensable source of language data for modern lexicography. Methodology is presented by using some practical examples from the Slovenian-English language pair. As the standard computer format of modern dictionaries, SGML/XML format is pointed up as the one allowing to control the structure of the dictionary and because of its software independence. The final result of the lexicographer’s work is the computer database in SGML/XML format that contains information of various levels, with the printed dictionary only one of them.
